I bought this birdhouse for my friend's birthday. She absolutely loved it, especially the red color. I also wanted it to be squirrel proof.
Absolutely the best made, sturdiest and easiest to use feeder I have ever had. Very heavy so that the squirrels can’t open it or dump it over and though they can get on it0, they really don’t get much seed and therefore they have not bothered these feeders as much at all. I highly recommend it and to show you how much I mean that, I have bought three!
Look who’s inside this bird feeder. I must have some smart squirrels, because not only do they climb inside the feeder, but they will hang onto the top with their hind legs and use their front paws to lift the bar so they can access the seeds. 😂
Ground squirrels are not heavy enough to close it at all. They just have a seat and enjoy themselves. 😂
